FORD PRO – THE FUTURE OF COMMERCIAL VEHICLES

FEBRUARY 10, 2022

Whether we realise it or not, the recent home delivery boom has made commercial vehicles more important than ever to our everyday lives. In 2021, we kept Europe’s businesses moving – and customers happy – with hard-working vehicles and services, putting us on top of Europe’s sales charts for Commercial Vehicles for the seventh year in a row.1

While our vehicles topped the sales charts, we also unveiled our new vision to make our customers more productive than ever. Ford Pro will help businesses make the transition to electrified vehicles, offering exciting new products and services that can transform how they manage and operate their fleets.

For example, we’re already using live data to keep customers moving. Since it launched in March 2021, our Ford Liive system has enabled 58,000 days of extra vehicle availability, generating over €25 million of value for customers in Europe. This year, we’ll keep expanding FORDLiive and introduce new, user-friendly ways for businesses to save money and get more out of their vehicles.

There will be major moments for vehicles this year, too. Our E-Transit – the all-electric version of the world’s best‑selling cargo van – is already proving its worth in customer trials and will reach dealerships in spring. It’s the first in a new generation of all-electric Ford commercial vehicles and is designed to set new standards of efficiency, value and customer experience with full support from Ford Pro.
