With Dynamic Charging, you can save money on your home charging costs. Your Ford will automatically charge at a cost-efficient time and schedule, saving you money on every journey. Dynamic Charging also gives you the chance to use more renewable energy, using live data to charge your car when fewer people are using electricity, putting less pressure on the grid.
Dynamic Charging connects your car directly with the energy provider, to help optimise your charge and save you money. You’ll always have ultimate control over when you charge, so you never have to compromise on charging comfort.
You’ll be able to use Dynamic Charging if you:
Connect your vehicle to your energy provider’s account to activate Dynamic Charging.
Define your charging preferences through your energy provider’s app.
Plug in your vehicle at home and your provider will calculate the optimum charge schedule.
Reduce your charging costs without compromising on comfort or convenience.

If you need a Type 2 (AC) cableTooltip, you’re travelling abroad or would like to connect to a different type of socket, you’ll find charging cables and connectors, as well as other electric and hybrid accessories, in our online shop.
You can charge your Ford EV from a standard domestic plug socket by purchasing an optional home charging cableTooltip. Charging in this way is slower than via a home EV charging point but can be convenient. Always ensure that socket suitability is checked by a qualified electricianTooltip. Adapters are also available for charging through industrial power sockets.
