MUSTANG MACH-E ONLINE ORDER FAQs

  • To place your order, simply go to the Mustang Mach-E webpage and configure your desired car.

    Then select a participating Ford Dealer and log in to your Ford Account. You'll see the price for the vehicle from your selected Ford Dealer and then you may need to pay them a refundable reservation fee.

    Once you’ve paid, you’ll receive confirmation of your order and a unique pre-order number via e-mail. If you don’t receive this e-mail, please check your spam folder. 

    If you change your mind, you can cancel the order and receive a full refund via your original payment method. Log in to your Ford account, click the Cancel button and follow the on-screen instructions. Please check the Terms and conditions <link> of your order for more details.

    Please note, Mustang Mach-E GT pricing will be released at a later date.

    You can log back in to your Ford Account at any time to check the current status of your order.

  • You will receive an email from Dec asking you to log into your Ford Account on the Ford website and convert your pre-order into an order. 

    Production has started for all vehicles for customers with a Pre-order and is on track for the first deliveries to arrive in United Kingdom in Spring 2021. 

    We recommend confirming your order as soon as possible after receiving your email to keep the production plan on track for your vehicle. Otherwise there may be a risk of delays and you may not be able to get your desired specification. 

    When you log into your account, you will see confirmed pricing for your pre-order vehicle. By accepting the terms and conditions you will move your order into the next stage: to confirm your vehicle specification. Once you've done this, you will sign the Customer Order Form either online or at your Dealership and then you'll receive another email from Ford confirming your order. If you e-signed your order form, you will also receive your signed customer order from in a separate email once the Dealer has counter signed it.

    You don't need to pay any more money at this stage. We’ll contact you about payment options before we begin building your Mustang Mach-E. 

    If you don’t want to continue with the purchase, you can cancel your pre-order and we'll refund you fully via your original payment method. Please check the Terms and conditions of your order for more details.

  • There are 4 different Mustang Mach-E models available. Mustang Mach-E, Mustang Mach-E First Edition and Mustang Mach-E AWD are available from 2020. The Mustang Mach-E GT will be available in 2021.

    We’re only making a limited number of the First Edition models. These will be sold on a first come, first served basis.

    To select your model and start building your vehicle, just head over to our configurator.

  • You may need to pay your selected Ford Dealer a refundable reservation fee. The dealer themselves will specify the amount, as part of the checkout process on the Ford website.

    Payments made on the Ford website will be processed using a third-party payment processor. 

  • The Ford RRP price of the Mustang Mach-E is available as you configure your vehicle on the website. Prices may differ by Dealer, but by selecting your preferred Ford Dealer, you can see their specific price.

  • Once your reservation fee has been received, we’ll send you an email confirming your order has been placed. You can then track the progress of your order through your Ford Account. We’ll also send you an email whenever there are any updates. 

  • When you order your Mustang Mach-E, you’ll be sent a unique order number. This number is a unique randomly issued 8 digit number, it is not sequential. For your own benefit and security, this number is assigned to you and cannot be transferred.

  • The Ford Order number is important, so please keep hold of it. If you call your Ford Dealer  or the CRC, they will ask you for your order number to assist with your query.  The order number is issued when you first place your pre-order, it is not sequential, it is a unique randomly issued 8 digit number - we plan production using your pre-order date as much as possible.

  • Yes, you can order the Mustang Mach-E for your business. It's as easy as selecting the business setting during the checkout process. 

    But if you want to  order more than 2 vehicles for your business, you’ll need to contact a participating Ford Dealer.

  • If you want to amend your order, please call the Ford Customer Relations Centre on 02035644444

    We suggest you keep any changes to a minimum, as these could delay your delivery time.

  • You can order a maximum of 2 Mustang Mach-E vehicles per household.

    If you want to order more than 2 vehicles for your business, you’ll need to contact a participating Ford Dealer.

  • Sure thing. Ford Mustang Mach-E vehicles will be sold by participating Ford Dealers. You’ll choose your preferred Ford Dealer when you place your order. 

  • If you change your mind and want to buy from a different Ford Dealer, please call your Dealer or the CRC to discuss next steps. You may need to cancel your order through your Ford Account. 

    Then you can order a Ford Mustang Mach-E again, paying a new reservation fee to your new Ford Dealer, if applicable.

    You will be refunded your initial reservation fee within 7 days. Please bear in mind that your new vehicle may be built later than the original vehicle.

  • Orders are only accepted online. But if you prefer to go in store, a participating Ford Dealer will be happy to talk you through the process.

  • You should have recieved an email inviting you to confirm your order. If you have not recieved your email, please log in to your Ford Account to confirm your order.

    We recommend confirming your order as soon as possible after receiving your email. Otherwise there may be a risk of delays and you may not be able to get your desired specification.

  • We'd be sad to see you go, so if you're having issues or want to make any changes, get in touch and let us know. We'll do all we can to help.

    If you do want to cancel your order, just log into your Ford Account, click the cancellation button and follow the on-screen instructions. Your reservation fee will be refunded within 7 days via your original payment method.

    If you have finance or lease application on your order, you will be unable to cancel your order online.  You will need to talk to your Dealer who will arrange the cancellation for you. 

    If your order is over 6 months and your payment card has expired, we will refund your reservation fee manually and this will take up to 10 working days. This will be arranged by the CRC. 

  • Yes it is.

  • If you cancel your order and place a new one, then yes, your replacement vehicle may be built after your original vehicle was due to be built. 

    This means you’ll probably receive your Mustang Mach-E later than originally anticipated.

  • Whenever there’s an update to your order, we’ll send you an email to let you know. For instance you’ll be notified when your car is being built or when it’s ready for collection or delivery.

    You can also log into your Ford Account at any time to track the progress of your Ford Mustang Mach-E.

  • Once available, you can collect your vehicle from your selected Ford Dealer. Some dealers may also offer home delivery at an extra cost.

    If you buy from a Ford Dealer outside your country of residence, you may not have the option for home delivery. 

    When your Mustang Mach-E is ready, we’ll send you an email to arrange a suitable date for delivery or collection. At this point, your Ford Dealer will also let you know what documents you need to provide at handover.

    You can view and edit your delivery choice in your Ford Account. (Participating dealers only).

  • Please inform your Ford Dealer about any issues straight away. 

    We’ll aim to rectify any problems and find a solution as soon as practically possible.

  • No, your selected Ford Dealer will take care of registration for you. 

    There may be exceptions to this if you’re buying your Mustang Mach-E from a different country from your country of residence.

  •  The customer order from sets out the terms and conditions between you as the customer and your selected Ford dealer. 

  • The online order process wiill inform you when a customer order form needs to be signed. For your convenience. our online journey includes an online signature. 

  • Yes. If you would feel more conformtable with this approach please select the option to 'sign at dealer'. You can visit your dealership to do this step.

  • The first Mustang Mach-E vehicles will arrive from Spring 2021. 

    Your delivery time will depend on when you order and what lead time you select when you place your order. An estimated delivery date will be provided on the Customer Order Form when you place the order. Updates will be provided to you throughout the process either by email, on the Ford Account or by your Dealer. 

  • If you cancel your order and place a new one, then yes, your replacement vehicle may be built after your original vehicle was due to be built.
