SAFETY

A SYSTEM THAT CAN HELP PROTECT PEDESTRIANS

Pre-Collision Assist with Pedestrian Detection uses RADAR and camera technology to scan the road ahead. If a collision risk with a vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist is detected, it’ll then provide you with a warning. If you don’t respond in time, the system can automatically apply up to full braking force to help reduce the severity of, or even eliminate, some frontal collisions.

CONTROL FEATURES THAT ADAPT TO YOUR LOAD

Load Adaptive Control adjusts the Electronic Stability Control according to the overall weight your Ranger is carrying. This ensures control and stability whether empty or fully loaded.

SECURITY

PROTECTION FROM THIEVES

The Ranger’s Thatcham Category 1 alarm is a sophisticated system that automatically arms itself when you double-lock the vehicle. The system sounds a powerful alarm if triggered by forced entry, the vehicle being lifted, or by motion sensors detecting any movement inside the pick-up truck.  You can arm the system in different ways, monitoring the doors, bonnet or boot. It’s also designed to help prevent unwanted towing of the vehicle. Finally, the Ranger has the added protection of a separate trailer alarm.

KEEP GUARD

For added peace of mind, the FordPass Pro app delivers an extra level of security on top of Ranger’s regular alarm system. With SecuriAlert activated, you’ll receive a notification if FordPass Pro detects someone trying to gain access to your vehicle – even with a stolen or mimicked key.
