Ranger Raptor is available with a choice of two formidable engines. The hefty new 3.0-litre V6 EcoBoost petrol engine, armed with two turbochargers for increased power and responsiveness. Or a new Bi-turbo 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel. Each engine offering stunning responsiveness and huge reserves of power, for ultimate off-road performance.

Ranger Raptor’s sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission delivers spirited acceleration with surprising fuel efficiency. It uses real-time adaptive shift-scheduling, which enables the transmission to effortlessly adapt to changing conditions. Performance-inspired magnesium paddle shifters put swift, effortless gear changes at your fingertips. As they are mounted on the steering wheel, you can change gear simply, without having to take your hands off the wheel.

DIGITAL INSTRUMENT CLUSTER**

Ranger’s 12.4" digital instrument cluster displays driver information in high definition using intuitive, easy-to-read icons. Different colour themes appear for each drive mode, and you can prioritise which information is displayed, including navigation alerts.

Ranger Raptor’s 360-degree camera with split-view display helps you to be more aware of your surroundings. Images from several cameras positioned around the vehicle are used to display a comprehensive view of the area around you via the SYNC screen†††.

INTELLIGENT HEADLIGHTS

Ranger Raptor’s new Matrix LED headlights, with their signature ‘C-Clamp’ themed daytime running lights, deliver outstanding visibility with eye-catching design. The adaptive front lighting system uses a windscreen mounted front facing camera, to optimise headlight beam patterns. Adjusting for changing conditions, such as for motorway, city, or country road driving, as well as parking and cornering manoeuvres.

TAILOR-MADE PERFORMANCE

When driving off-road, every terrain requires a different approach. To help you make the most of the Ranger Raptor’s capabilities, a Terrain Management System enables you to adjust the vehicle’s acceleration, traction control, steering sensitivity and gear change behaviour. Choose from seven different modes to maximise performance in all conditions: Normal, Slippery, Sport, Mud/Ruts, Sand, Rock Crawl, and for unbeatable off-road performance, Baja Mode.‡‡‡

Ranger Raptor’s heated steering wheel is ergonomically designed with performance in mind. With a top-centre marker, perforated leather hand grips and magnesium paddle shifters for swift, effortless gear changes at your fingertips.

UNCLUTTERED CENTRE CONSOLE

Ranger’s E-Shifter replaces a conventional gear lever, giving you complete control of the 10-speed gearbox with a satisfyingly solid shift. Together with the electronic parking brake and a convenient rotary dial for the Terrain Management System – the result is a cleaner, uncluttered central console design.

UPFITTER SWITCHES

A bank of six auxiliary switches on the overhead console make it easier to power aftermarket accessories, such as light bars and winches, from inside the cab. The vehicle is also pre-wired, with circuits placed where equipment is commonly added – including under the bonnet by the front grille and near the trailer hitching point.
