Ford is committed to promoting the responsible manufacturing, handling and use of our products. That’s why we support the underlying goals of REACH, a European Union regulation that concerns the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation & restriction of Chemicals.

We specifically support Regulation EC 1907/2006) Article 33(1). That’s because the Regulation relates to Substances of Very High Concern (SVHCs) which appear on the current List for Authorisation.

If these substances do exist in a product, it’s important to guarantee their safe use. So the Regulation is designed to enable customers to take any appropriate risk management measures: an aim and objective we wholeheartedly endorse.
