The Ford Motability Team looks forward to meeting you

Whichever of the events you decide to attend, our friendly team is waiting to welcome you at the Ford stand.

There you can check out the selection of Ford’s award-winning range of vehicles. You can also get more information about the entire For Motability range, and book a test drive with a fully qualified driving instructor.

What’s more, you get to try the vehicle set-up that suits you – including automatic, steering wheel ball, electronic brakes, hand controls and left foot accelerator. Just remember to bring your driving licence.

Assistance dogs only are welcome at all the events. Please do not leave your dog in the car.

  • At the stand you can also meet our inspiring Motability Ambassadors: Jane Sowerby and Jason Richards, who will be happy to chat about all the options Ford offers and demonstrate the versatility of available adaptations. They speak from their own, very personal experience.

    Ford Accident Management

Jane is currently a professional ski instructor. She was a member of the GB Paralympic Ski Team and 2008 British Disabled Female Champion. Paralysed from the waist down, she drives an adapted Ford S-MAX with hand controls and plenty of room for her training gear.

    Ford Accident Management

Jason competed at both national and international level in the pentathlon and triathlon before focusing his attention on wheelchair racing. Paralysed from the chest down, he has recently changed his Ford S-MAX to a Grand Tourneo Connect, which is big enough to carry his racing chairs and his family!

    • Ford has over 1,000 Motability Specialists
    • Around 400 different adaptations are available through the Motability Managed Adaptations Programme – many at no extra cost
    • Get a new Ford every 3 years, or 5 years for Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles
