Make a date with Ford Motability

Ford has been the No.1 Motability manufacturer since 2012. You can find out why at the Motability One Big Day events and the Mobility Roadshow. No tickets are needed and admission is free.

The Ford Motability Team looks forward to meeting you

Whichever of the events you decide to attend, our friendly team is waiting to welcome you at the Ford stand.

There you can check out the selection of Ford’s award-winning range of vehicles. You can also get more information about the entire For Motability range, and book a test drive with a fully qualified driving instructor.

What’s more, you get to try the vehicle set-up that suits you – including automatic, steering wheel ball, electronic brakes, hand controls and left foot accelerator. Just remember to bring your driving licence.

Assistance dogs only are welcome at all the events. Please do not leave your dog in the car.

  • At the stand you can also meet our inspiring Motability Ambassadors: Jane Sowerby and Jason Richards, who will be happy to chat about all the options Ford offers and demonstrate the versatility of available adaptations. They speak from their own, very personal experience.

    Ford Accident Management

    Jane is currently a professional ski instructor. She was a member of the GB Paralympic Ski Team and 2008 British Disabled Female Champion. Paralysed from the waist down, she drives an adapted Ford S-MAX with hand controls and plenty of room for her training gear.

    Jason competed at both national and international level in the pentathlon and triathlon before focusing his attention on wheelchair racing. Paralysed from the chest down, he has recently changed his Ford S-MAX to a Grand Tourneo Connect, which is big enough to carry his racing chairs and his family!

  • Motability’s flagship two day show, The Big Event, is Motability’s biggest event of the year offering you the chance to see the largest display of vehicles for disabled people in the UK. It's the perfect opportunity to discover worry-free motoring with Motability.

    Motability have a limited number of scooters and manual wheelchairs available to borrow free of charge. 

  • One Big Day provides the perfect opportunity to discover everything you need to know about worry-free motoring with Motability. There is a huge range of cars, adaptations, Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles, scooters and powered wheelchairs on display and what's more, admission is free!

  • Mobility Roadshow

    The Mobility Roadshow provides a wealth of product and service information for ANYONE seeking to regain, or maintain, independent mobility, whether drivers with disabilities, young and novice disabled drivers seeking their first adapted vehicle, options for wheelchair accessible vehicles, older drivers looking for comfortable driving solutions, plus independent living innovations for personal mobility in and out of the home.
