A GUIDE TO EV CHARGER INSTALLATION

THE FASTEST CHOICE FOR HOME CHARGING

A home charging point is a dedicated charger for your electric car or plug-in hybrid. It’s the fastest home charging option — up to five times faster than charging from a standard domestic socket. They’re also known as home EV chargers or wallbox chargers.

Charging at home can be cheaper than public charging. So, having a fast EV home charger installed could help keep your running costs down.

There are lots of options available, so it’s important to make sure you choose one that’s compatible with your car. We also recommend using a professional installer to install a car charger at home. If you choose a Ford Connected Wallbox, we can help you arrange installation through our local partner.

You can buy a Ford-compatible home charging point in our online shop which is home to the Ford Connected Wallbox.
