Can I tow with an electric vehicle?

Electric vehicles can tow with different capabilities offered.⁠[disclosure: Ford Pro - Towing] The E-Transit Custom offers towing up to 2.3 Tonnes.⁠[disclosure: Ford Pro - Max Towing]

What are the charging options available to me as a business?

We provide a suite of Charging solutions for the Workplace, Home and On-the-Go, all focused on vehicle uptime; plus we have a team ready to support you on finding the correct Charging solution for your business.

Where can I find EV charging stations?

The BlueOval™ Charge Network gives your electric-vehicle fleet access to one of Europe’s largest network of more than 800,000 plugs and growing.

You can locate your nearest public charger via Find a Charger.

Can I reimburse my drivers when they use public charging stations?

Ford Pro offers software which enables reimbursement of charging to drivers. You can set up a single account with centralised billing, charging logs, and convenient monthly invoicing on the BlueOval™ Charge Network using our Public Charge Management software.

What type of software does Ford Pro offer for EV vehicles?

Ford Pro offers comprehensive services including real-time tracking and optimisation, predictive maintenance to reduce downtime, data analytics for performance insights and driver support for improved efficiency. All Ford Pro EVs come with one year of E-Telematics⁠[disclosure: Ford Pro - Telematics availability (short)] unlocking range improvement features such as charging insights, range status, remote preconditioning, driver behaviour with an In-Vehicle Coaching tool all at no additional cost.⁠[disclosure: Ford Pro - Free Subscription]

Can I convert a Ford Pro electric vehicle?

Ford Pro EVs can be converted to suit many vocations including construction vehicles, removal to refrigerated food delivery vans, custom people carriers, and more. Ford Pro provides services and support for EV conversions the same as for non electric vehicles.

What kind of maintenance do electric vehicles require?

EVs require less scheduled maintenance than traditional vehicles, with a service interval of 2 years for inspection of the battery and brake system to ensure optimal performance. Ford Pro EV-certified technicians can help keep your vehicle up-to-date and on the road.

Can Ford Pro service my electric vehicles?

Yes, Ford Pro has EV-certified technicians to help keep your vehicles up-to-date and on the road.

How long will my battery last?

There is no definitive answer as battery durability is dependent upon many factors including operating conditions, loads, mileage, usage. Ford Pro warranty covers batteries for 8 years or 100,000 miles (160,000km) whichever comes first.

How can I finance my electric vehicle?

Ford Pro FinSimple finance products cover both credit and lease options for Electric Commercial Vehicles in the same way as they do non-Electric Commercial Vehicles.
