Nürburgring proven

It did it! We set Mustang® GTD the goal of achieving what very few street-legal[disclosure: Mustang GTD - National regulation] production cars have, lapping the famous 12.8 miles Nürburgring Nordschleife racetrack in under 7 minutes. On 7th August 2024, professional racing driver, Dirk Müller, took the Mustang GTD around the track in an incredible 6m 57.685s, averaging an astonishing 118 mph around the 73 corners.[disclosure: Mustang GTD - Warning]

Dirk returned to the Nürburgring this year. This time Mustang GTD posted an even quicker lap time, completing the circuit in a very impressive 6m 40.835s.

The Mustang GTD features performance technology throughout, including the dynamic aero rear wing. This provides downforce to produce responsive control while driving corners and opens to reduce drag down straights.
