Performance and Efficiency

The New Ford Ranger Raptor fuses off-road capability with the Ford Performance DNA that runs through the GT supercar and Focus RS. A specially designed, and precision engineered, bi-turbo version of the Ford 2.0-litre EcoBlue Diesel engine has been paired with a new 10-speed automatic gearbox. The result: an unparalleled driving experience. And purpose-built off-road tyres help you dominate every terrain, from towering sand dunes and thick mud, to fast moving river crossings and steep mountain roads.

Advanced new engine technology

The cutting edge 2.0-litre bi-turbo EcoBlue diesel engine in the New Ranger Raptor is engineered for more power, better efficiency and lower emissions. Delivering 213 PS and 500 Nm of torque, this engine sets a new standard for off-road performance.

Reduced emissions

The engine in the Raptor is engineered to meet the stringent Euro 6.2 emissions standards. These standards are designed to improve air quality and reduce exhaust emissions.

A sophisticated 10-speed automatic transmission

With an advanced new 10-speed automatic transmission, the Raptor delivers rewarding acceleration as well as surprising fuel efficiency. It uses real-time adaptive shift-scheduling too, which enables the transmission to effortlessly adapt to changing conditions. So, whether you’re cruising on the motorway or tackling difficult off-road terrain, you’ll always be in the right gear at the right time.

Change gears fast

Performance-inspired magnesium paddle shifters put swift, effortless gear changes at your fingertips. And because they’re mounted on the steering wheel, you can change gear more efficiently and without taking your hands off the wheel, wherever you’re driving.

All-terrain tyres

33-inch all-terrain tyres come as standard, boasting a precise tread pattern, longer tread life, and tougher side walls than standard factory tyres.

Use less fuel with Auto Start-Stop

If you find yourself stopped at traffic lights or your vehicle is idling in a queue, this technology can automatically switch off the engine. When you're ready to move, just depress the clutch and select first gear as usual, or release the brake on an automatic, and the system restarts. Auto Start-Stop is particularly effective in town and city streets, where it can cut fuel consumption by up to 10%.Tooltip

Essential journey information

An on-board trip computer gives you useful facts and figures about your mileage, fuel consumption, speed and the outside air temperature. It also includes ‘distance to empty’: roughly how far you can go on the fuel left in the tank. This is particularly useful on long journeys, or if you know you’ll be driving somewhere remote.
