ALL-NEW FORD FIESTA SPORT VAN
Model shown is a Fiesta Sport Van
We took the head-turning design, smart technology and fun-to-drive dynamics of the Ford Fiesta. Combined it with the practicality, durability and generous load space that Ford vans are renowned for. The result: The All-New Ford Fiesta Sport Van.
The All-New Ford Fiesta Sport Van offers a generous 0.96m³ of rear load space. Four usefully placed tie-down points, plus a full load floor rubber mat, means you can transport items safely and securely without worrying about them moving around as you drive.
With Adaptive Cruise Control technology, you choose the speed you want to drive at and the system will maintain it. If the built-in RADAR sensor detects a vehicle ahead, it will slow your Fiesta Sport Van to maintain a pre-set distance. Once the road in front is clear, the system will accelerate back to your chosen speed.
A Lane Keeping System uses a forward-looking camera to detect if you’re unintentionally drifting out of lane. Lane Keeping Aid can provide steering torque assistance to help guide you safely back into the right lane. If you're slow to react or don’t respond, Lane Keeping Alert then warns you by vibrating the steering wheel and displaying a visual warning. The technology will automatically deactivate at speeds below 43mph (65 km/h) or can be turned off manually.
A Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) uses RADAR sensors to scan the blind spots on either side of your Fiesta Van. And if they detect a vehicle you can’t see, an orange light that’s clearly displayed in the corresponding side door mirror illuminates to warn you. If you’re reversing out of a space, and have limited visibility of the traffic situation, Cross Traffic Alert can detect oncoming vehicles and sound a warning. The technology also illuminates a light in the wing mirror: left or right depending on the direction of oncoming traffic.
A useful night-driving aid, Auto High Beam temporarily dips your headlights when it detects oncoming traffic or a vehicle ahead, stopping you dazzling other drivers. Then it automatically reverts back to high beam, giving you maximum visibility.
Ford SYNC 3 is a state-of-the-art system that enables you to stay connected and control your phone, music and navigation system with intuitive voice commands, or an 8” colour touchscreen. It connects to Apple CarPlay and Android Auto too, and with Applink, you can access some of your favourite smartphone apps. Live TrafficFordPass with Live Traffic can also help you avoid the jams. And you can even call up a list of local restaurants just by saying “I’m hungry”, or access the Michelin Guide to help you choose and book places to eat.
The Fiesta Sport Van is available with the FordPass Connect modemFordPass Connect Modem, a system designed to make every journey easier and more enjoyable. It enables a range of features, including Wi-FiWi-Fi hotspot with real-time traffic updatesFordPass with Live Traffic delivered straight to your in-car satnav, you’ll arrive more relaxed and on time.
With optional Electronic Automatic Temperature Control you just select the exact interior temperature you like and the system maintains it with advanced air conditioning.
Walk towards your car and the Ford KeyFree System senses the presence of your key fob, even if it’s in your pocket or bag. The doors unlock and when you take your seat there’s no need for an ignition key. Just depress the clutch, push the Ford Power Starter Button and the engine fires into life.
Heated front seats for both driver and passenger are available as an option. There are three different heat settings, you easily set them via push button switches that control the left and right heated seats, and a red light illuminates to show the heat level setting you’ve chosen. Whether it’s a frosty morning, a chilly day, or a freezing cold night, a heated steering wheel is also guaranteed to warm your hands better than a pair of gloves.
It’s always important to keep your tyres at the correct pressure, to help you save fuel, preserve your tyres and help keep you safe. That’s why sensors constantly monitor every wheel and alert you if there’s a problem, so you can pull over, check it, and either re-inflate the tyre or change the wheel.
