Body Shop Repair Warranty

Repairs carried out by a Ford approved Body Shop come with a 3 year warranty.

The warranty guarantees the quality and durability of repairs carried out by an authorised dealer where genuine Ford branded parts are used.

With the exception of wear and tear items, the warranty covers all labour and parts fitted in association with a panel or bumper replacement (including mechanical components) for three years.

Operating independently of the perforation warranty, the three year collision repair warranty requires a customer or insurance company to purchase a repair whereas the perforation warranty is an integral part of the vehicle warranty.

Should any manufacturing or material defect occur with a collision repair carried out by an authorised dealer, the vehicle will be repaired free of charge at the authorised dealer where the original repair was carried out. If it is not possible for the original authorised dealer to complete the repair, another authorised dealer can carry out the repair at Ford cost, provided prior approval is obtained.

Should any manufacturing or material defects occur with a collision repair, the customer is entitled to a free of charge rework at the original authorised dealer with costs distributed as described below.

Where a genuine Ford branded part has failed:

Ford will meet parts, paint and labour costs in the first year but parts and paint only in the second and third years.

The authorised dealer will cover labour costs in the second and third years.
