iPhone Battery Drainage Issue

There is an issue with battery drainage on iPhones running iOS 14+ versions. The FordPass™ App is affected by this issue after a device is connected to a vehicle via USB or Bluetooth®.

We are working on the issue, but there are actions you can take to mitigate the impact:

  1. Forceclose the FordPass™ App.
    • iOS devices without a Home button
      • Swipe up from the bottom of the screen and pause slightly in the middle of the screen.
      • Swipe left or right until you locate FordPass™.
      • Swipe up on the FordPass™ App.
    • iOS - devices with a Home button
      • Double click the Home button.
      • Swipe left or right until you locate FordPass™.
      • Swipe up on the FordPass™ App.
  2. Restart your phone.

The issue may recur if you connect your phone to your vehicle again. If so, repeat the above steps.
