How do I manage Preferred Charge Times for my electric vehicle?

To access Preferred Charge times in FordPass:

1. Open the FordPass App.
2. Navigate to the Vehicle screen.
3. Select Charging.
4. Select Preferred times. 
5. There should be two tabs, which are:
   • Saved Locations
   • Previous Locations

Note: If no locations are saved, then a message will display advising you to add saved locations. You can select and save a location from the Previous Locations tab.

To set up or assign a preferred charge time in FordPass:

1. Open the FordPass App.
2. Navigate to the Vehicle screen.
3. Tap Charging.
4. Tap Preferred times. 
5. Select a location from one of the following options:
   • Saved Locations
   • Previous Locations
6. Tap Name.
7. Assign a name to the charge location.
8. Tap My charge times.

9. Select your preferred Start Time and End Time.

   Note: You can set up two windows for your weekday charge times.

10. Tap Save. 

To use recommended times from a utility provider:

1. Open the FordPass App.
2. Navigate to the Vehicle screen.
3. Tap Charging.
4. Tap Preferred times. 
5. Select a location from one of the following options:
   • Saved Locations
   • Previous Locations
6. Tap Recommended times.
7. Follow and confirm the app prompts. 

8. Choose your utility provider from the list. 

   Note: If your provider is not listed, you can edit the post code to find a provider.

9. Select the plan that you have with your provider.

   Note: If your plan is not listed, you can still manually set charge times. 

10. Tap Next. 
11. The best charging times offered by your provider will appear.
    • Select Confirm to save.
    • Select Cancel, set my own charge times if you do not want to use the recommended times. 

To modify a preferred charge time in FordPass:

1. Log in to the FordPass App.
2. Navigate to the Vehicle screen.
3. Select Charging. 
4. Select Preferred Times.
5. Tap Begin Setup.
6. Select one of the following tabs:
   • Saved Locations
   • Previous Locations
7. Tap the charge location you want to edit. 
8. Apply your changes to any of the following: 
   • Location name
   • Max Charge Level (use the slider)
   • Weekdays/Weekends
   • Preferred Charge Times
     • Set your own time
     • Use recommended times 
9. Select Save. 

To remove a preferred charge time in FordPass:

1. Log in to the FordPass App.
2. Navigate to the Vehicle screen.
3. Select Charging. 
4. Select Preferred Times.
5. Tap Begin Setup.
6. Select one of the following tabs:
   • Saved Locations
   • Previous Locations
7. Tap the charge location you want to delete.
8. Select Delete Location.
