How can I tell if my Ford has received a Software Update?

Your vehicle's touchscreen will display the below icon if an update is available. Tap the icon and follow the instructions to install the update.

What happens if I miss an Update?

We recommend you to set Automatic Updates to 'ON'. This ensures your vehicle will always have access to the latest  Software Updates. You can change your vehicle's update settings on the in-car touchscreen. Simply tap on 'Settings' and then 'System Updates'. 

If Automatic Updates are set to 'OFF', an icon will be displayed on the touchscreen when an update is available. You will have to tap the icon and accept the update to proceed.
