Ford Motor Company provides original equipment (OE) and genuine Motorcraft service parts to ensure the highest quality performance and reliability available for your vehicle.  Whilst every attempt is made to provide parts in a timely manner, occasionally the parts supply chain can be disrupted and unfortunately backorders can result. There are several common reasons for a backorder, such as:

• Demand variables
• Engineering part changes
• Transportation/weather delays
