How to Tow the Electric Explorer

Please refer to the owner's manual section, Energy Towing.

If your vehicle becomes inoperable without access to wheel dollies or a vehicle transport trailer, it can be flat-towed with all wheels on the ground under the following conditions:

• Your vehicle is facing forward for towing in a forward direction.

• Your vehicle is in accessory mode or switched on before being towed.

• The position selector is in neutral (N).

• Maximum permissible towing speed is 50 km/h (30 mph).

• Maximum permissible towing distance is 50 km (31 mi).

Note: We recommend towing the vehicle with a depleted HV battery by a professional towing service.
