How to Check for SYNC Software Updates

SYNC & Map Updates are now available for download by entering your vehicle VIN into our Ford website by clicking here. Should you have any difficulties, please contact your local Ford dealer.

If a SYNC software or map update is available for your saved Ford, you'll see a notification on the SYNC dashboard tile when you log in to your Ford Account. If an update is due, follow the instructions to install and confirm the update.
