Who is High Mobility?

High Mobility is an independent third party that Ford is working with to enable you to use your vehicle data to support the connected products and services you have purchased. For example if you purchase a product that requires you to share your Odometer reading with a third party, it is High Mobility that will receive this data from Ford and make it available to your chosen provider. Ford will only share data with High Mobility if you have provided explicit consent for Ford to do so.

Caruso is an independent third party that Ford is working with to enable you to use your vehicle data to support the connected products and services you have purchased. For example if you purchase a product that requires you to share your Odometer reading with a third party, it is Caruso that will receive this data from Ford and make it available to your chosen provider. Ford will only share data with Caruso if you have provided explicit consent for Ford to do so.

What vehicle data can be used?

This depends on the product or service you purchase. The data required to support the product or service you purchase will be made clear to you as part of the enrolment process.

How is data collected and shared?

The vehicle data is collected by Ford and shared securely with the Neutral Server provider (either Caruso or High Mobility). The Neutral Server provider will then share it with the company you have purchased a product or service from.

Do I have to have FordPass Connect for my data to be shared?

Yes, in order for you to be able to use your vehicle data to support a product or service, you need to have a FordPass account and to have 'activated' your connectivity by authorising data collection on FordPass
