USB Charging
Some Ford vehicles may have a USB charging port that is now capable of charging a tablet and knows just how much power to supply to fully charge your device.
Unlike traditional USB charging ports, that provide 500 milliamps of power and can only charge a smartphone or media player, smart USB chargers can provide up to 2 amps and know just the right amount of power to deliver to whatever device you're charging.
This means that if you have one device plugged in that needs 2 amps to charge and another plugged in at the same time that only needs 1 amp to fully charge, your smart USB port will deliver the right amount to both and that can help save battery power for your vehicle.
