What is the Ford Essential Service and Repairs Programme?

If your Ford is over four years old, you can choose the Ford Essential Service. Ford Essential service and repairs are available at participating Ford Dealers for older passenger cars and commercial vehicles with up to and including 2.5L engines and are applicable to retail customers only. All published prices are recommended retail prices and include parts, labour and VAT. Mustang, RS models and LPG derivatives are excluded.

Carried out by Ford-trained technicians using high-quality Ford Motocraft Parts^®, the Ford Essential Service includes a comprehensive inspection, covering all the essential checks, top-ups¹, oil and filter changes and much more. ¹Fluid levels will be topped-up to the vehicle manufacturer recommended levels and are limited to half a litre (0.5L) of coolant, half a litre (0.5L) of screen wash and 1 litre (1L) of engine oil. Additional quantities of fluid will be charged accordingly with customer’s consent. Should a fault be identified as the reason for a fluid top-up being required then further investigation would be necessary and therefore fluid top-up will not be included.
