Does the Ford Warranty Cover Accidents or Damage From Conversions?

The New Vehicle Warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, collision or objects striking the vehicle (including driving through a car wash).

The New Vehicle Warranty also does not cover any damage caused by alterations or modifications of the vehicle including parts such as the body, chassis or components.

In addition, the Warranty does not cover damage caused by tampering with the vehicle, tampering with the vehicle's emissions or the parts that affect these systems such as the exhaust or intake systems.

Finally, the New Vehicle Warranty does not cover the damage caused by the installation of any Ford or non-Ford part designed for off-road use (other than a certified emissions part) if the installed part fails or causes a Ford part to fail.
