2.0L EcoBlue Diesel - Fuel Injectors

We've identified a number of faulty fuel injectors in 2.0L EcoBlue Diesel engines, in vehicles built between 25/02/19 and 13/09/19.* This is due to a batch of high-pressure fuel injectors from a supplier that failed to meet our stringent quality levels.

This could affect Transit, Transit Custom, Ranger, Focus, Mondeo, S-MAX, Galaxy & Edge vehicles.

Affected vehicles could experience a misfire and reduced engine performance.

 

What are Ford doing to help?

Our number one priority is to keep all of our customers moving. Therefore, we are prioritising the repair for customers of registered vehicles which have experienced the issue, including the provision of a courtesy vehicle. All affected unregistered vehicles will be repaired prior to registration.

 

What do customers need to do?

If you experience this fault, please contact your Ford Dealer who will then rectify the issue by checking & replacing any defective diesel fuel injectors.
