How to reset my Ford Account password

When registering for Ford Account, you will have set up an email username and password. If you have forgotten your password, you can reset it by following the steps below.  

• Click Log In / Register at the top of the Ford homepage  
• Go to Forgot Password and follow the instructions 

If you can no longer access the email account with which you set up your Ford Account, please contact the Customer Relationship Centre via live chat or call 020 3564 4444. 

How to change your Ford Account password 

• Sign in to your Ford Account 
• Go to Your Account > Settings 

Here you will see the option to edit or update your password  

Choosing a Password 

Ford Account passwords must be: 

• At least 8 characters long 
• Different to your email username 

Passwords cannot include too many repeated characters 

Please remember to always keep your password secure 

Ford Account and the FordPass* app 

If you have the FordPass* app, you already have a Ford Account. Ford Account online and FordPass* share the same features and data. 

The same login details are used for both platforms. If you reset your password for one platform it will also change on the other.
