Who is responsible for maintaining and servicing the vehicle?

Ordinarily, you will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle, and must service the vehicle at a Ford Dealership of your choice. We do offer Contract Hire with Maintenance, where Ford Lease will maintain and service the vehicle: you will know if you entered in to this type of agreement by looking at your contract. If you are a current Ford Lease customer, get in touch with your Ford Dealer to find out what sort of agreement you have entered into.

What happens if my vehicle is damaged or gets involved in an accident during my lease agreement?

You will be responsible for ensuring that the vehicle is repaired to the standard detailed in our Wear and Tear Guide, available here. Failure to ensure that the vehicle meets our standards at the end of the contract can result in charges when you come to hand the vehicle back (Ford Contract Hire), or a lower price achieved when you sell the commercial vehicle (Ford Finance Lease).
