The Electronic Limited Slip Differential on the All-New Focus ST has been engineered to provide superior performance and stability. The system continuously analyses data from a range of sensors and can adjust the torque split between drive wheels within milliseconds. This improves traction, cornering and stability, meaning you can take corners more quickly whilst staying in control.
The 6-speed manual transmission in the All-New Focus ST has been optimised to make gear selection easier, more precise and quieter. It has been specially engineered to improve driving dynamics and reduce fuel consumption, too, helping to make your drive more exhilarating whilst reducing trips to the petrol station.
The All-New Focus ST is also available with a new 7-speed intelligent automatic transmission. The gear differentiation has been built for to maximise flexibility. And Adaptive Shift Scheduling, which alters gearshift timings depending on different driving styles, optimises performance whether you’re on the road or the track. You can even select gears manually with the steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
Normally only found on high end sports cars, Paddle Shifters are available with the All-New Ford Focus ST when you choose the automatic transmission. This racing-inspired technology puts swift, effortless gear changes at your fingertips. And because the Paddle Shifters are mounted on the steering wheel, you can change gear more efficiently when cornering.
A split, twin exit tailpipeTooltip not only complements the aggressively styled rear end, but also improves practicality by enabling a towing capability otherwise prevented by more conventional centre-exit tailpipes.
A large, steeply angled rear spoiler does a lot more than give the Focus ST an aggressive, sporty silhouette. The rear spoiler increases downforce on the car to improve dynamics and help you really stick to the road.
