Focus RS named best car for thrill seekers by Parkers

As total UK Focus RS sales approach 6,000, the acclaimed 350PS performance hatch has claimed another award.

No-nonsense consumer advice site Parkers.co.uk declared the all-wheel drive star its best car for thrill seekers.

Parkers editorial director Tim Pollard succinctly stated “giggles guaranteed” in summing up the Ford’s success over McLaren 570S and Toyota GT86 contenders.

“The Focus RS Edition represents accessible performance at its finest,” said Ford of Britain sales director, Kevin Griffin, who received the award.

The Company has also announced a Focus RS Edition, which features a mechanical Quaife limited-slip differential (LSD), and is now available to order, providing even more traction and driving appeal for performance driving enthusiasts.

The Focus RS Edition, priced from £35,795, features unique styling, including signature Nitrous Blue paint with striking black exterior details, a two-tone seat execution and carbon-fibre trim.
