We are thrilled to announce that we are teaming up with the cancer care charity Macmillan Cancer Support. We will be doing our best to help them provide more people affected by cancer with the support they need.
And with 780 people told they have cancer every day in the UK, this support is needed more than ever.
‘When Pam, my wife, was diagnosed with terminal cancer, our whole world collapsed around us. It was the support we received from our Macmillan nurse that enabled us to build some semblance of a life around the circumstances we found ourselves in.’

Swing into action
One of the ways you can join us in helping to improve the lives of people affected by cancer is by taking part in Macmillan’s Longest Day Golf Challenge.
It’s not for the faint-hearted – you’ll have to take on 72 holes of golf in one day – but the rewards are great. As well as enjoying the thrill of completing this epic challenge with friends, you’ll also get to feel overwhelming pride that you’ve raised money to fund vital cancer services.
To find out more about this great challenge and how you can register for it, visit www.macmillan.org.uk/golf
Finish as one of the top four teams that completes the Longest Day Golf Challenge and you’ll get to play for the Challenge Trophy in the Western Algarve, Portugal.
Every penny counts
- £184 could fund a Macmillan nurse for one day, helping people with cancer receive the care and support they need.
- £320 could pay for 1,000 copies of our Help with the cost of cancer booklet, which helps people in financial difficulty as a result of a cancer diagnosis.
- £1,776 could run a small Macmillan cancer information and support centre for a week, providing people with the chance to talk to specialist staff about their worries.
