The World Rally Championship is Ford of Europe's primary motor sport activity. The BP Ford Abu Dhabi World Rally Team has a driving team that mixes experience with a young approach. The experience comes from the pairing of driver Mikko Hirvonen and co-driver Jarmo Lehtinen, while the young approach is provided by Jari-Matti Latvala and Miikka Anttila. Additionally the team is joined by the up and coming Khalid Al Qassimi from Abu Dhabi and co-driver Michael Orr. Excitingly, Ford claimed the Manufacturers' Title, becoming FIA WRC World Rally Champions with the BP Ford World Rally Team in both 2006 and 2007.
