The Ford Focus ECOnetic Smart Driving Competition in partnership with the Energy Saving Trust (EST) is subject to the following terms and conditions.
The competition will run on all public days of the British International Motorshow (24th July – 3rd August, 2008).
The point of the competition is to record the lowest CO2 emissions during a measured drive within a set time period.
All drives will be undertaken in a Ford Focus Econetic over a set course at ExCel London within a set time period.
Entrance to the competition is open to visitors to the stand over 21 years of age with a valid driving licence.
Drives are subject to availability and are on a first come first served basis.
The winner will be the driver who records the lowest CO2 emissions score during their measured drive within the time set by Ford. In the event of a tie the prize will be divided among the prize-winners.
The winner will win 1 months loan of a Ford Focus Econetic at a date to be agreed between Ford and the winner and £5000 of EST approved energy efficient electrical equipment, insulation and small scale renewables for their home.
The winners may be required to take part in publicity (including photographs)
The competition will be supervised by an independent person, with the winner receiving their prize by 31st December, 2008.
The loan of a Ford Focus Econetic is subject to the winner being resident in the UK and holding a current clean UK driving licence.
Entry implies acceptance of these rules The competition is not open to Ford Motor Company Group employees or employee’s of any agency groups or employees of the Energy Saving Trust
