The Manufacturing Engineering function at Dagenham Engine Plant provides at-elbow engineering support to all our engine production areas. Integrated into the production team, Plant Engineering also liaise closely with Product Development and supports all aspects including Process Engineering, Forward Planning, Change Control, Material Handling, Quality and supporting the launch of new derivatives and products such as our new Tiger engine.

Dagenham is Ford's only diesel centre in Europe and has been the focus of heavy investment and state-of-the-art facilities. The most recent engine was launched at the end of 2004 and will shortly be joined by a brand new engine ensuring that our employees are working with the latest equipment to produce leading diesel engines that go into cars and commercial vehicles around the world.
