New or recent graduates join our team of commodity buyers, in either 'production' or 'non-production' purchasing. These buyers work together to develop an optimised, world-class, competitive supply base to support ongoing business needs. You’ll find yourself working in a truly dynamic environment and because you commodities will have a value of many millions your contributions will make a direct impact to the bottom line.
Typically, buyers are responsible for a group of commodities, across all European plants and their customers. Every day will be different, but usually you’ll be analysing quotations and negotiating prices and terms with both current and prospective suppliers. That way we ensure the lowest total cost while improving quality and delivering on time.
