Its imposing new bonnet is immediately noticeable with a large, wide, grille opening that dominates the front and flared wheel arches emphasizing the vehicles tough styling. The all new Ranger is a true off-roader, capable, yet stylish and ideal for the driver who needs it to fit their lifestyle.
New Stylish Interior
All new Ranger's interior has been completely redesigned. Its seats boast a new sculpted seatback, wider shoulders and larger headrest to give a more comfortable driving experience. A key feature is the integrated radio with in-dash CD player and MP3 compatibility. There are also numerous stowage areas, including a high capacity two bin centre console for storing CD's and sunglasses and an industry first instrument panel pull-out tray to keep all of your papers in place.
More power, more torque
All new Ford Ranger features an all-new 2.5-litre Duratorq TDCi diesel engine featuring a new common-rail fuel injection system. The engine boasts increased power (143PS) and torque (330 Nm at 1,800 rpm) as well as improved fuel economy. High levels of on-demand torque combined with an extremely flexible engine mean you can confidently trust all new Ranger to take you anywhere, smoothly.
All-new Ranger will arrive on Britain's roads in Autumn 06.
