As an accomplished award winner, the Ford Focus has just taken home yet another – Used Car of the Year 2007 in the Auto Express Used Car Honours 2007.

Judges drawn from Glass’s Guide, British Car Auctions and the Auto Express team, as well as the motor trade, scrutinised all available cars to find the top choices, with the Ford Focus coming out on top.

The Ford Focus is the perfect combination of solid refined design, the best new technologies available, precision craftsmanship and sporty yet relaxed handling. Together with its excellent value, all-round ability and ‘buyability’, the Focus was the overwhelming choice for the Auto Express judges: “When it came to picking an overall winner, there was no argument. The Focus offers an unbeatable all-round package.”

Continuing Ford’s success, the Ford Focus was also awarded Best Compact Family Car, while the Ford Mondeo was awarded Best Family Car – a testament to its refinement and quality drive.

As further evidence of the quality of the Ford vehicle range, honourable mentions were also granted to the Ford Fiesta in the Supermini class, while the Ford Focus ST received a special mention in the Hot Hatch class.

Ford is once again justly reaping the fruit of designing cars that blend style, practicality, durability and driving prowess in equal measures.
