Easy Access Door System
Ford’s Easy Access Door System makes access in tight spaces much easier. Twin sliding rear doors and hinged front doors give you an extra-wide, 1.5m side aperture. There are no obstructions either, as the central structural pillars, which usually divide the front and back of the car, have been cleverly built into the doors themselves.
Active City Stop
Accidents in stop-start, slow moving traffic happen all too frequently, Active City Stop is an advanced technology designed to help you avoid them. At speeds of under 19mph, the system detects if the car in front has unexpectedly stopped, and automatically applies the brakes for you.
Hands-Free Tailgate
The hands-free tailgate is especially helpful at times when you have your hands full. Simply wave your foot under the rear bumper of the car and the tailgate will automatically open or close. The system uses two sensors under the rear bumper that recognise when your foot breaks their electric field. A signal is then sent to your vehicle requesting the tailgate to open or close.
Active Park Assist
Active Park Assist can help steer you into the tightest of parking spaces. Simply push a button and the sensors of this innovative system will locate a space big enough as you pass it. It will then help steer you in, all you have to do is operate the accelerator, gears and brake, and simply follow the on-screen instructions and audible signals.
