An inspiration for disabled drivers

Since 1996, the Ford Mobility Ambassadors have promoted the rights of disabled motorists and, through their attitude and determination, inspired those around them.

Jason Richards and Jane Sowerby, the current Ambassadors, work tirelessly in attending Mobility events, sharing their experiences and speaking on behalf of Ford Mobility about all of its benefits.

Jason Richards
One of the country’s top wheelchair athletes, Jason has recently regained his British 400m title, won his first Great Yorkshire Race and produced personal bests in the 100, 200 and 400m races. Since becoming the father of twins in November 2007, he is also just as busy off the track.

Jane Sowerby
Jane Sowerby
A member of the British Disabled Ski team, Jane has been crowned the British Disabled Female Champion, competed at World Championships, and in the 2008/2009 season achieved nine podium finishes as she gained a combined World Ranking of 11th. Jane is training for the Winter Paralympics in Vancouver 2010 where she will represent her country.
