News for Small Fleets
Transit OSS 5-Way Tipper 2010

The new phase 5 OSS Tipper for 2010 represents the latest evolution of the UK's best selling Tipper. The OSS Transit Tipper has been the benchmark in the industry since its launch 12 years ago, constantly evolving and responding to user feedback and legislative requirements, setting new standards in design and safety whilst providing an aftersales service second to none.

Productivity, Safety, and Cost of Ownership were the key messages from operators constantly striving to increase the efficiency of their fleets. Every aspect of this fifth generation Transit Tipper has been geared to improve all three of these operational needs.
Phase 5 Tipper's will start production in April with 35 changes providing tangible operational benefits in productivity, reduction in risk and cost of ownership.

  • Improved payload
  • Lower loading height
  • Intuitive Tipper control gear
  • Body lock down
  • TÜV approval
Cost of Ownership:
  • Reduced regular maintenance requirements
  • Repositioned end outline marker lamps, incorporating LED lamps
  • Simplified systems and reduced parts count
Recognising Fleet and Rental operators are under increasing pressure from their duty of care responsibilities. The Transit Tipper still remains the only Tipper in the industry to be approved by the TÜV Rheinland Group, a global leader in independent testing and assessment services. The OSS Tipper's unique TÜV approval gives Fleet managers the confidence that their purchase decision has been independently verified for safety and production conformity.
