Green tyres have been developed to cope with the pressure that stop-start driving in city traffic puts on both your car and the tyres themselves.

The design offers improved rolling resistance, which results in better fuel economy and in turn, fewer CO2 emissions.
 

Did you know that 44% of cars in the UK are running with under-inflated tyres?
This means the cars use more fuel, which increases emissions. In fact, a tyre with pressure that’s 25% lower than recommended reduces fuel efficiency by 2%+.

The answer is, of course, to set your tyre pressure correctly. Ford tyre pressure gauges are extremely accurate and guarantee your tyres will be inflated to exactly the right level. This alone could save you up to £37 on fuel per year, not to mention reducing your emissions.
