We are always striving for ways to reduce our impact on the environment. Almost all of our vehicles and their constituent parts (up to 95%) can now be re-employed in other vehicles or in other manufacturing processes. For example, our vehicles’ noise insulation is made from used denim jeans and reclaimed upholstery. When it comes to our own processes, we’ve pioneered the use of solar panels on the roof of the Bridgend Engine Plant in Wales, the first installation of its kind at any car plant in the world, generating an annual output of 110,000 kilowatts.
