New Fiesta Van interior with Mondus Max in Fairland combination trim
Looks that mean business
From the prominent front grille to the sleek and sophisticated tailgate, the Fiesta Van has been completely redesigned inside and out. The sculpted exterior exudes presence and individuality without compromising on the reliability the Fiesta Van is already famous for.
Ford Easy Fuel
Keep your hands clean at the pump and prevent yourself accidentally filling up with the wrong fuel with this ingenious misfuel inhibitor.
Power-fold mirrors with integrated indicators
These electric mirrors fold in to prevent accidental damage when parked. Stylish integrated indicators alert others to directional changes when driving.
Rain-sensing wipers
Rain-sensing wipers offer six levels of sensitivity, springing into action automatically at the first drop of rain and increasing in speed to deal with whatever the weather can throw at you. Aside from the added convenience, it gives you one less thing to think about when driving.
Auto-headlights
Designed to make night-time driving easier, safer and more comfortable, auto-headlights turn on when the sensors detect that light is fading. So at dusk, at night, or when you enter a tunnel, you can simply continue to drive, knowing the Fiesta Van will take care of all those mundane functions.
Human Machine Interface (HMI)
The striking centre stack of the Fiesta Van’s centre console plays host to the impressive multi-functional display. With all the functions displayed on a high-tech screen, you’ll find they’re just a quick glance away from your field of vision. If you don’t want to take your eyes off the road, some functions can be controlled via intuitive steering wheel-mounted toggles.
MP3 connector
The centre console of the Fiesta Van has a multi-functional display which connects you with your MP3 player directly through an AUX jack.
Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD)
ABS stops the brakes from locking the wheels. This helps prevent skidding if you have to brake when cornering or need to make an emergency stop. For further stability when braking, this system comes with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD).
Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) with Traction Assist (TA) and Emergency Brake Assist (EBA)
ESP with TA monitors the rotation of the wheels, as well as the steering wheel angle, yaw angle and sideways movement. If the sensors detect either the front or rear tyres slipping, the onboard computer modifies the engine power and applies the brakes to individual wheels. This keeps them under control and helps keep the vehicle stable. EBA is there to ensure full braking force is available whenever necessary, helping reduce stopping distances in an emergency. To alert other drivers if you do have to brake heavily, the hazard warning lights automatically come on. (Option on Fiesta Van and Fiesta Van Trend; Standard on Fiesta SportVan.)
