The Ford Transit provides an impressive load carrying capability, with up to 15.1 cubic metres of load space^†, 2,447 kg payload capacity^‡, and 4,256 mm load length^* letting you can fit cargo over 4 metres long. Wide side load doors, optimised opening height and a rear access step all ensure effortless access to your cargo too.

HANDS-FREE SIDE DOOR^††

Helps to make loading easier. Simply pull the door handle or press a button on the key fob, and the side load door will automatically open or close.

REAR LOAD ACCESS^††

Rear cargo doors can be locked open at 270 degrees to make loading and unloading even easier. Even closing the doors is easier, thanks to improved air extraction vents that relieve air pressure build-up in the cargo area.

TIE DOWNS KEEP LOADS SECURE

Transport your cargo securely. Side-wall mounted tie-down points are both DIN and ISO compliant.

IMPROVED VISIBILITY

A rear-mounted LED Downlighter^†† enables you to continue working long after the sun has gone down. The system will automatically turn the light off if the battery gets low, making sure you can always get home at the end of a long day.

A BRIGHTER-LIT CARGO AREA

Load space lamps are fitted as standard. You can also specify the option of ultra-bright LED lighting if required.

NEED TO TOW ADDITIONAL LOADS?

If your work requires a tow bar, you can specify one as a factory-fitted option. Or you can order one later as an accessory and have it fitted professionally through your Ford Dealer, in both instances, the Trailer Sway Assist feature will be activated.

Featuring a range of advanced 2.0-litre Ford EcoBlue diesel engines, the Transit is more powerful and more efficient than ever. With four powertrains available, offering up to 165PS, you’re guaranteed to find the one that meets your specific needs. The Transit is also available with an HDT (Heavy Duty Truck) engine for customers operating heavier vehicles or ideal for heavier conversion.

NEW AUTO TRANSMISSION

An upgraded 8-speed automatic transmission has been created to replace the previous 6-speed. With a console-mounted rotary gear shifter and steering wheel-mounted paddles.

ACCELERATION CONTROL

Designed to control the rate of acceleration according to the size and weight of your vehicle’s load. This can help to lower fuel consumption by up to 15%, depending on your driving style. It can also reduce the amount of wear and tear on the engine, brakes, tyres, and other components.

COMFORT & CONVENIENCE

DELIVERY ASSIST

Takes care of repetitive tasks during deliveries, helping drivers save time with each stop. The system automatically activates the hazard warning lights whenever the vehicle is placed in Park with engine switched off, then locks any doors the driver does not need. Pressing the brake pedal restarts the engine and deactivates the system¹.

AUTO HIGH BEAM

Detects on-coming traffic and automatically switches between low and high beam. Helping to avoid dazzling approaching drivers, while giving you optimised visibility when roads are clear^‡‡.

QUICKCLEAR HEATED WINDSCREEN

Gets your windscreen cleared fast on frosty mornings. Thin filaments heat your windscreen to de-ice, de-fog and de-mist the glass in seconds, as well as help defrost the wiper blades.

PRE-COLLISION ASSIST

Scans the road ahead for potential hazards. If risk of collision with another vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist is detected, it’ll then provide you with a warning^‡‡.

AUTO EMERGENCY BRAKING

Part of Pre-Collision Assist. If you don’t respond in time, the system can automatically apply up to full braking force to help reduce the severity of, or even avoid, some frontal collisions^‡‡.
