As the latest in a long line of high-performance production cars, the new Focus RS had a lot to live up to. The athletic frame and aggressive stance encapsulate our Ford kinetic Design direction. And with the Ultimate green finish contrasting with its black detail, new Focus RS stands head and shoulders above other performance production cars around today.

Bodystyling
Everything about the Focus RS design prepares you for what to expect from its performance. At the front there’s a deep airdam incorporating a black, meshed grille. This design is seen again under the black-framed chrome xenon headlamps, giving the car an aggressive, feline look. Fog lamps are set into the front quarter panels, while RS-badged black vents sit behind the flared wheel arches. The bonnet houses two louvred vents: authentic racing features that ensure the correct system temperature is maintained.
 
At the rear, a deep bumper mirrors that of the front, and incorporates a large venturi tunnel. At each side, a vent accentuates the car’s wide stance, while two chromed exhaust protrude from beneath the pronounced bumper. To complete the racing look we’ve also equipped it with a twin-blade black RS spoiler that dominates its athletic rear.

You take care of your car when driving, but what happens when you park? These clever mirrors turn flat against the doors electrically, so you needn’t worry about them being damaged if you leave it on the road. Plus, you can also negotiate narrower gaps.

Rear sensors make parking safer and easier. An audible warning helps you judge the distance between your car and any obstacle behind you. So parking, as every other manoeuvre in your Focus RS, will be quick and confident.

When you’re concentrating on the road, it’s good to be able to leave the more mundane functions to the car. Focus RS has rain-sensing wipers that offer six levels of sensitivity, springing into action automatically at the first drop of rain and increasing in speed to deal with whatever the weather can throw at you.
 
There are also light sensors fitted that activate the auto-headlights when they detect fading light, so at dusk, at night, or when you enter a tunnel, you can simply continue to enjoy driving.
