Created as a fastback four-door, the Ford Evos Concept is the length of a Focus size car but the width of a Mondeo size car and is shaped as the ultimate expression of the new design DNA. It has a unique silhouette and the new face of Ford with its higher mounted trapezoid grille together with ultra slim ‘laser cut’ lights and hinged gullwing-style doors (front and rear), which provide easy access to the spacious cabin and futuristic interior.

As well as demonstrating the shape of things to come, the Ford Evos Concept showcases new Ford driving technologies using cloud connectivity. The car gets to know the driver and adapts handling, steering and other controls to suit the individual. Smart wellness technologies also monitor the driver’s physical state and adjust the driving experience accordingly.

Completing the vision is an advanced lithium-ion plug-in hybrid powertrain. Cloud optimised, it knows when to save energy by choosing the optimum time to switch between the electric motor and the petrol engine. Or even when to engage both modes to maximise fuel efficiency.
