Power-fold mirrors
The stature of the Fusion gives the impression of a larger car, but you’ll be surprised at the spaces it will fit into. Its electric power-fold mirrors turn flat against the doors, so you can negotiate narrow gaps, or leave your car parked on the road without worrying about the mirrors being damaged.
Rain-sensing wipers and auto-headlights
Rain-sensing wipers can be fitted that offer six levels of sensitivity, springing into action automatically at the first drop of rain and increasing in speed to deal with whatever the weather can come up with. Aside from the added convenience, it’s one less thing to have to think about.
This option also comes with lighting technology designed to make night-time driving easier, safer and more comfortable. Auto-headlights turn on when the sensors detect a reduction in light conditions, which means you won’t need to turn them on at dusk, at night or when going through a tunnel.
Seating
One of the reasons why it’s easy to forget that the Fusion is actually a small car is because it carries five adult passengers in comfort. We have also cleverly designed the back seats so that they split 60:40, which means that if you have a lot of luggage to carry, you can stow it all and still seat four people.
Clever storage
The ingenious configuration of the Fusion means you have 2.3 metres of length to play with for all those long and awkward shaped pieces of luggage or DIY materials. In addition to the generous amount of stowage, the Fusion has a comprehensive range of stowage areas and compartments for all those ‘essentials’ that a family can’t seem to live without. These areas include underseat trays, individual gloveboxes, a roomy map pocket and a practical but stylish centre console.

Interior Trim
There’s a range of fashionable colours to choose from, available in luxurious fabric and supple leather. These beautifully complement the design flourishes and features such as the soft-touch dashboard. The high-quality craftsmanship evident in the deceptively spacious cabin, further underlines the Fusion’s ‘big car’ feel.
Everything where you need it
We spent a great deal of time on the instrument dials so that they are in the perfect position to read at a glance, while the controls are both ergonomic and delightfully intuitive.
Bluetooth®* with Voice Control
Using Bluetooth®* with Voice Control technology means you can adjust various pieces of equipment without taking your eyes from the road, or your hands from the wheel. For instance, you can safely make and receive calls, change the radio station, CD track and even adjust the temperature or fan settings when Electronic Automatic Temperature Control (EATC) is fitted - just by using voice commands. Trip computer
The multifunction trip computer works out your fuel economy as you travel, which means you can modify the way you’re driving to use less fuel. The display also shows your average speed along with the distance travelled. And, just so you know what it’s really like outside, there’s even an external temperature reading.
Entertainment and information systems
Four hi-fi-quality speakers mean that the DIN-sized audio equipment produces stunning acoustics in the deceptively large cabin. The optional Sony CD player with security ‘Keycode’ has remote audio controls on the steering column. So, while your ears enjoy endless first-class entertainment, your eyes will never have to leave the road in order for you to adjust your sound system.
There’s also an optional Becker 'Indianapolis Pro' navigation system, available as an accessory from your Ford Dealer, that has Integral Blootooth® with Voice Control. It incorporates a radio and CD/MP3 player. The navigation system will find the easiest and quickest route for your journey, then gives you simple voice and visual guidance – so you should only get lost in the music.
